Three Insights from the Intel® AIM Suite Survey


As part of our continuous improvement process, the Intel® AIM Suite team is currently conducting an industry-wide survey to assess interest in viewer measurement and analytics.  While the survey confirms that AIM Suite is meeting a fundamental need, the responses also point to challenges and opportunities.  

This article is just a “Snapshot” of first responses, but there are several very interesting insights to highlight. 

Insight 1:

Q: As a service provider, what is the level of interest you have found in audience detection and analytics among your customers?

A: 77.6% of respondent’s customers show interest, high interest or extreme interest in audience detection and analytics.

Insight 2: 

Q: As an end user, what is your level of interest in audience detection and analytics? 

A: 69.5% of end user respondents show interest, high interest or extreme interest in audience detection and analytics.

Insight 3: 

Q: What are your expectations for digital display analytics deployments during 2012?

A: 22.9% of respondents expect a rapid increase in licensing for the remaining 2012 year, while 45.7% predict evolving deployments.

Key Takeaways: 

From the data collected, we see growing demand for viewer measurement and analytics, both inside the digital signage industry and with end-users.  The vast majority of survey participants understand that analytics is essential for evolving the industry further. The ability to trigger content that’s relevant to current viewers and optimize ROI is widely recognized as key to attracting and holding viewers – the top priority of the digital signage and DooH industries.
